I was thinking more of Malta or Switzerland - but I suppose both of those have issue also.

Switzerland is a mess with their social problems and such, and I thought I saw that Malta is going to the gay marriage and abortion rout to prosperity.
In Chile abortion is still illegal. If I were you I would make plans either way.
