Why is it that every time I delete spam, it seems that 2 more pieces come in? I think deleting email opens the window for a second to let more spam in-just as no legitimate email comes by itself. It is always accompanied by some spam. I dread that part of Monday mornings dedicated to deleting the several hundred junk emails which have accumulated over the weekend. Usually I only get a hundred or so overnight, but I don't check my email on the weekends usually, so don't have a chance to delete them.

All this spam discussion just so I can post this picture.

I have my patent agent hat on today, so I may be scarce around the office. Of course I was yesterday also-having my pseudo farmer's hat on as we repaired and reinforced our chicken pen.

Yesterday I mentioned that August was historically Requiem Press slowest sales month. I feel I should mention it again, cause it seems to have brought in some business-which is truly scarce this time of year. And don't forget, if you want a copy of Russell Shaw's book "Catholic Laity in the Mission of the Church", you can advance order a copy of the 2nd printing and save some money. It makes a good Christmas present-especially for a young Catholic.

Okay, there's the sales pitch. Have a good day.

Oremus pro invicem!
