By the way, the puppy we took home last week is at the shelter again and very sick. The vet swears it is parvo and that his test can not give a false positive even though the pup had the parvo vaccine 6 days before. Most other sources dispute that-saying false positives are normal 5-12 days after the vaccine is given. The animal shelter from which we adopted says the pup has a bacterial virus and wants us to take the puppy back. We're not taking any chances for a few days.

My, it is hot out there. We worked hard and long today with plenty of water at our side. Still not finished, but we're within spitt'n distance of the finish line. We'll put a few finishing touches on the chicken pen and houses this evening when it gets a tad cooler.
